  1. FPU_TEST is a small utility which will test your system for the
  2. presence of the MC68881 math co-processor.  By Quidnunc Software (dated
  3. 1991) this file actually contains two programs which do the above.
  4. These programs have only been tested on the MC68881 mapped into memory
  5. as a peripheral device (e.g. installed on the ICD AdSpeedST board or on
  6. the Atari SFP004 Floating Point Coprocessor board).  Both programs
  7. perform floating point calculations for ten seconds and then display a
  8. "speed factor" which is proportional to the number of calculations
  9. performed.  One uses the FPU and the other does not, thus you can
  10. compare the results.  Docs included.
